Subconscious Connections

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Little bits of spit, pate and cellophane tape hold the images of

my life together.  I am amazed, that I suddenly don’s spontaneous disintegrate

into cosmic dust.

I must give thanks that I do not evaporate into the ether.  I am thankful for the bits of stickiness that

holds it all together.

White Slashes, on a Blue Surface

White slashes, found on a brilliant cobalt blue surface in Konodai, Chiba, Japan.

Look, Feel the Inner Landscape

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

It is a rarity to find someone who can, or wants to look deeply

at the world around them.  There amongst the rumble, tumble, urban

paths we lead there is a beauty.

This park bench beckoned to me.  Saying, “look at me!”

“Do you see the way I feel?”

I answered with a snap of the shutter, ” I do.” I replied.

The Blind Will Lead the Blind

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

The blind will lead the blind to a place that only the blind will know.

Will you follow them to that secret place?

I will.  I will follow and let my lens see for me.

Will you put your faith in them, let them lead you?

One of those Days: Contrasts

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

Today was like riding on a roller coaster.  It was just as if the carpet

I had been walking on soothed my tired feet on some steps then on

others the pain lightning bolted up my leg.

The images I captured today reflect the good and the bad of it.

I will start with the bad, and end with the good.
