Tokyo, Chiba Japan the land of abstraction.

Lovely warm summer day, luckily not too hot, yet.

So as I set off for Ichikawa station, I turned right, where I usually turned

left and discovered a cool old part of town, or as the Japanese say “下町”

Lots of beautiful old buildings.  You know the kind, don’t you?  The kind of building

thats been around so long the patina just pulls you on in.  The combinations of wood, copper, and rust.

I am a sucker for it all.

Two slightly abstracted images caught in my neighborhood today.

Masaka まさか　translated more or less as never, or I’ll never.

I love the frustration, recently I can really relate to that emotion.

This one caught my I as a beautiful yin ang yang image mixed up m2c style.

Rusty, Crusty, and hidden away in a little workshop in my hood.

I am not sure what xray love is, but I would like to find out.

It’s amazing what you see when you are tuned into the usually

invisible.

We all have done it at some point in our life.  Wether its drawing on a foggy window on the bus or writing “Wash Me !” on a filthy dusty car.  We all have picked up our finger and scribbled something, some message to the world.

Dusty, Dirty, Communication at a basic simplistic level has the possibility to convey a complicated meaning.

Open the door and come on in.

There is little to see, actually there are just some weeds, safety cones and a slab of concrete.

But pay it no mind, let the mind wonder on in, and see what is shall see.

Circle, Square, Triangle, simple shapes with deep meaning.

The circle the is no end, there is no beginning there are no corners.

The line loops around completely into its self.

Found wandering around Ichikawa Station while waiting for the train.
