Collage Blog
Graphic Design: the Backlog
Tuesday, March 17th, 2009I have made the decision to update and upload a small backlog of the graphic design projects I have done over the past few years. Some are from projects up and coming and others are those that have passed. I approach design much in the same way I create an analog collage. It is all about layers and layers of images, and text until the you reach a point of fruition.

Old Fashioned, Hands On Analog Alternative Printing
Sunday, February 8th, 2009Recently I have become quite obsessed with analog hands on techniques for printing. I have come to love the way the inkjet print transfers captures feelings and emotion. The process is full of hazards and happy accidents, is another reason why it suits me. I am sure that there will be many more to come.

Monoprints: January 2009
Wednesday, January 14th, 2009In my mixed media art class today we worked on making mono prints. I hadn’t made any mono prints on paper for quite a long time and it was quite exciting to make them again. There is a freedom found in their simplistic nature. The act of knowing that once you ink up a plate and press it to the paper that is the only exact one you can ever get.
Shown some Love on Keyko’s Website
Monday, June 30th, 2008I was fortunate to see Keyko perform with HIFANA at the end of April. She inspired me to start some new stencil based collage works. She has recently posted the piece on her website. You can follow the link below. Sorry it is only in Japanese.
