Collage for Five Friends

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

This piece appeared in a small show in Urayasu, Japan over the weekend.  It was nice to see it all put together before it is dismantled and sent to friends all over the world.  Thats right, I will take each of the five panels and send it to those creative souls that I know.  It will then only exist in digital images as a complete piece unless I can get all five together at the same time in the same place.  Bon Voyage.

Danchi Beautiful Solo Show Images

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

A collection of the work that was on display at Plumeria for the Danchi Beautiful Show in Urayasu, Japan.

Danchi Beautiful Statement

Danchi  Beautiful is a study in progress of the intersection of our lives, and the community that we all live in.  The giant concrete buildings of modern Japan can provide hope for building a new personal based community.  The people who inhabit the Danchi must make the choice voluntarily to build bridges to their neighbors.  Remember that to Love Thy Neighbor, You MUST first know them.

My Mixed Media’s Class first Show.

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

I started teaching a mixed media class at a community center in Urayasu Japan this spring.  We put on a joint show with the UFRA group and the other classes.  I am so proud of my students for coming along so far in such a short time.  I can’t wait to see what they do next.
